Who Are We MNA METAL RESOURCES
MNA Metal Resources Sdn Bhd was established in 2006 as a full lead-acid recovery plant where used lead acid batteries or ULAB as its primary raw material are smelted using rotary furnace producing lead bullions. In 2010 MNA expanded to include the refining of lead bullions into machine casted SPL and high antimony ingots.
In July 2012, MNA was taken over by a new owner based in Singapore and has developed into the manufacture, processing, production and/or smelting, refining and/or alloying and in the trading, marketing, or general merchandising, at wholesale or retail of iron ores, silica,lead, copper, antimony, and all kinds of ores, metals, non-metals minerals and coal to produce quality lead products.
MNA at present has two modern Rotary Furnaces for which the technology used in the smelting operation originated from the United Kingdom. It also expanded the refining kettle and casting machine capacities over the years, together with the installation of a U.S. made battery breaking machine and an Italian plastic recovery machine.
MNA is housed in a 15,350 square meter land area, located in Arab Malaysian Industrial Park, and complying to all DOE regulatory requirements while producing world class pure lead ingots and export-quality refined lead bars.MNA is one of the major suppliers of the largest battery manufacturing in the Philippines and Australia, aiming to be the primary lead manufacturer in Malaysia committed to deliver product performance requirements for battery manufacturing industry and other applications that need high quality lead materials.
